“The Circus arrives without a warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night.”

The Night circus is my type of of book. It’s been a long time since I felt this kind of intense magic while reading a book. From the characters to their own stories to the settings, I can’t stop myself from thinking about their world even when I’m not reading the book. I can’t even put to words how magical this book is. Though, I’m still looking for more, my mind can’t stop thinking more about the characters especially Celia, Marco, Poppet, Widget, Bailey, and Alexander. I love the story twist and I enjoyed every bit of reading this book. It is not about comparing the magic of this book to other books that brings magic, but it is about including the magic of this book along with magic of books that I learned to love and live in.

From the moment we see the Magical clock created by Herr Thiessen to the very moment entered our first tent then to our first taste of Circus food, The Night Circus introduced me to another magical world that I’m only too willing to visit along with the other worlds from another book. I must admit that I really love this book and it is now one of my favorites of all time.

“The finest of pleasures are always the unexpected ones.”
